    The DJI Zenmuse XT offers new and powerful characteristics and features, such as the higher resolution digital video display, faster frame rate, and the high-sensitivity radiometric camera model. When upgraded to include radiometric capabilities and used with the intelligent DJI XT Pro iOS app, the Zenmuse XT is optimized to deliver highly-detailed thermal imagery, live low-latency camera views, quick on-screen temperature estimates, accurate thermal measurements by the pixel, and more.

    The DJI Zenmuse XT 336 Tau2 30Hz is widely used by drone experts for a wide variety of home, agriculture, service, and security applications. Due to its faster frame rate, this thermal camera offers smoother footage during dynamic FPV flying, making it the the perfect imaging tool for firefighting or search and rescue operations where speed and accuracy is highly essential.

    User-Specific Camera Models

    While the DJI Zenmuse XT can perform precise temperature scans right out of the box, it can be upgraded to include Radiometric capabilities for added thermal imaging features. Below are the two different Zenmuse XT camera models with unique capabilities to suit specific user needs:

    Radiometric



    Designed for inspectors as it requires a simple tap of a pixel on the screen to get accurate (low/average/high) temperature measurements of that specific area.

    Performance



    Capable of doing quick and real-time visualizations of temperature differences and estimates at the center of the camera view. It is ideal for emergency responders in need of visual assistance in firefighting and rescue operations.

    Advanced Image Enhancements and Optimization



    To achieve accurate and reliable infrared or thermal imagery, the Zenmuse XT utilizes FLIR’s on-board suite of image enhancement options. It offers the following for each of your unique image optimization needs:

    Digital Detail Enhancement™ (DDE) - for boosting image clarity and sharpness Smart Scene Optimization™ (SSO) - for enhancing peak differences in bimodal scenes Active Contrast Enhancement™ (ACE) - for using contrast in showing temperature differences in a scene Information Based HEQ™ (IBHEQ) - for compressing image data to create the best quality image

    Seamless Integration and Compatibility

    Full compatibility with the DJI SDK app allows the Zenmuse XT to have complete access to some of the best DJI drone features, such as Intelligent Flight Modes, long-range video transmission, and flight customization and control over the gimbal and other camera subsystems. It allows the camera to work with the Matrice 100, Matrice 200 Series, Matrice 600, and Inspire 1, with which the Zenmuse XT can capture detailed thermal aerial imagery within seconds, take off in record time, and go on long flights (up to 35 minutes).
