The DJI SDK Encryption Chip (also called the SDK Certified Chip or SDK CC, part number CP.EN.00000554-01/-02) is the official security element used to authenticate custom payloads for DJI Enterprise platforms. This chip stores a DJI-signed certificate and private key, enabling encrypted communication between your hardware and DJI aircraft over E-Port, E-Port Lite, or OSDK connections.
Designed for developers building solutions with DJI's Payload SDK (PSDK) or Onboard SDK (OSDK), the SDK Encryption Chip ensures that your payload is recognized as an authorized, trusted device-critical for seamless operation and regulatory compliance on DJI Enterprise drones.
Each chip ships on 8 mm embossed tape for easy pick-and-place integration and includes a moisture-sensitive packaging kit to meet MSL-3 standards. After soldering the chip to your payload PCB, you can bind its UID to your firmware using the "djisdk-auth-tool" utility (part of PSDK v3.10 or later).
With onboard AES-128/256 and ECC challenge-response encryption fully contained inside the chip, your payload firmware never needs direct access to private keys, protecting your hardware and ensuring secure operation.
