Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated: [October 23rd, 2026]
Dronefly respects your privacy. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information. This page explains what that means and how to exercise your right.
What "sell" and "share" mean
Dronefly does not sell your personal information for money, and we never have.
California law defines "sale" and "sharing" broadly. "Sharing" includes disclosing personal information to advertising partners so they can show you ads based on your activity across different websites. This is called cross-context behavioral advertising. Like most online retailers, we use advertising and analytics tools from companies such as Google and Meta that place cookies and similar technologies on our website. Under California law, this activity may be treated as a sale or sharing of personal information, so we give you the ability to opt out.
What personal information this covers
The categories of personal information that may be sold or shared through these tools are:
- Identifiers, such as cookie IDs, device IDs, and IP address
- Internet or other electronic network activity, such as the pages you view on our site, the products you look at, and how you interact with our ads
- Commercial information, such as the products you have purchased or added to your cart
- Approximate location, as inferred from your IP address
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Sensitive personal information
We collect limited sensitive personal information, such as payment card details, only to complete your purchase. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you, and we do not sell or share it. For that reason, we do not offer a separate "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" option.
How to opt out
You can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information in any of the following ways. You do not need to create an account, and we will not ask you to verify your identity beyond what is needed to process your request.
1. Use our online form. Submit an opt-out request through our contact page and select "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" as the subject.
2. Call us. Call toll-free at (877) 299-1075 or (213) 262-9436, Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm Pacific.
3. Use a Global Privacy Control signal. If your browser or browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out preference signal, we treat that signal as a request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for that browser. If you are logged in to a Dronefly account, we will also apply the opt-out to your account.
Authorized agents
You may designate an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. The agent must provide written proof that you have authorized them to act for you. Submit agent requests through the contact page or by phone using the methods above.
What happens after you opt out
We will act on your request within 15 business days and will notify any third parties to whom we sold or shared your personal information in the 90 days before your request. Opting out will not affect your ability to shop with us, and we will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you opted out.
Please note that opting out of sale and sharing does not stop all data collection. We will still use your information to process orders, provide customer service, prevent fraud, and send you marketing emails you have subscribed to. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.

Your other California privacy rights
In addition to the right to opt out, California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to request deletion of personal information, the right to correct inaccurate personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To request deletion of your personal information, use our Data Deletion Request page. For access or correction requests, contact us through the contact page or by phone. For a full description of your rights and how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
