Why does this kit include a dedicated adapter in addition to the mounting bracket?

The Matrice 4E/4T airframe requires an additional adapter piece to properly fit the Methane Unit's mount to the aircraft body, on top of the standard mounting bracket. This is specific to this kit; the equivalent Matrice 400 kit does not require this extra adapter piece.

Why does this kit include a sampling tube?

The Methane Unit uses contact-based sampling through an intake tube rather than remote sensing. The extended sampling tube and quick connector position that intake correctly once the unit is mounted on the Matrice 4E/4T airframe.
