Where is the TrueView 1 Lite manufactured?

The TrueView 1 Lite is designed and assembled in the USA, specifically in Huntsville, Alabama. This ensures high manufacturing standards and provides users with a direct line to domestic technical support and hardware maintenance. However, the TrueView 1 Lite is not NDAA-compliant.

Can the TrueView 1 Lite be equipped with a different camera?

The TV1 Lite is designed as a fixed-specification payload with a 5MP global shutter camera. If your mission requires higher resolution imagery—such as 26MP, 45MP, or 61MP—or if you need multiple cameras for wider coverage, we recommend exploring the standard TrueView 1 model or other payloads in the TrueView series.

Can I process the data in other software besides LP360?

The TV1 Lite includes the tools to process raw LiDAR data and generate industry-standard .las files within LP360 Drone. Initial processing and colorization must be completed in LP360 Drone. Once exported as a point cloud (.las), the data can be imported into any compatible third-party GIS or CAD software for further modeling, analysis, or deliverables.

What is the weight of the sensor and how does it affect the drone?

The sensor weighs 1.4 kg (approximately 3.1 lbs). This lightweight design is intended to minimize the impact on the drone's center of gravity and battery life. On platforms like the Freefly Astro or Inspired Flight IF800, you can expect professional-grade flight endurance while carrying the full LiDAR payload.

Is the mounting kit included for the DJI M350?

Mounting kits for the Inspired Flight IF800 and Freefly Astro Max are typically provided at no additional cost because the necessary technology is already part of those drone platforms. For the DJI M300 or M350, you will need to purchase a separate mounting and antenna kit to support the TV1 Lite.
