Once parts are approved, our techs will get to work repairing your drone!
STEP 5: Fine Tuning and Testing
We update the firmware, calibrate all sensors, and test fly your aircraft to ensure your drone is in peak condition before shipping it back to you.
STEP 6: Return Shipping
Return shipping via UPS Ground is included in repair service for the continental US.*
*If you send your drone in an oversized case you may be subject to additional return shipping costs.
We do not fix water damage or flyaway units. Please do not ship us damaged lipo batteries. Customers will be charged a disposal fee of $25 per damaged battery.
Dronefly cannot be held responsible for any future issues or parts that may fail.
Gimbals and cameras are not repairable with this service. We can only replace the gimbal and camera units.
Any modified remotes will not be used for our final test flight. We will also not be held liable for any crashes. The Repair Service is non-refundable if the customer chooses not to replace the parts needed after the repair has started.
If the customer decides they do not want their drone repaired after a diagnosis, the service fee will be adjusted as follows:
- Dronefly Repair Fee is adjusted to $100 if customer declines repair after drone has been diagnosed. (Includes return shipping cost to domestic 48 states)
- Dronefly Repair Fee is adjusted to $50 plus shipping of old drone if the customer declines repair but opts to purchase a new drone.
- Dronefly Repair Fee is adjusted to $50 when old drone is abandoned and customer declines repair but opts to purchase a new drone
- Dronefly Repair Fee for water damage or flyaway is adjusted to $50. (Includes return shipping cost to domestic 48 states)
Final repair balance must be paid by the customer within 14 days of completing the repair.
Once a repaired product is shipped back and received by the customer, all claims must be made within 7 days of receiving the item.

Simply put, probably the single best service I've ever received from any company! Great guys and great service! Extensive repairs needed and their team knocked it out in a day! I'm local, so I was able to drop off, meet the guys, and discuss a few details while they wrote up the intake form. I received an email the next day stating what was need, along with the cost. I approved and within hours they wrote me back stating it was ready for pickup. Glad I have them close by to pick up accessories like props etc. when needed. I have fried the Tx and the Main Circuit board on my Phantom 2 by powering it on without a antenna attached. I've done this twice and both times sent the repair into DroneFly. I was very impressed with the quick turnaround (less than a week) and the price of the repair. I fully trust the team to fix my drone in the event of another crash. The broken pieces were shipped back to me along with the drone so I could see what work was done. My drone flipped upside down by hitting a branch on descent, ripping the camera right off the unit. I was skeptical that I'd be able to get my drone fixed for a decent price. We had a drone that was damaged in transit when we shipped it from one office to another. UPS wouldn't reimburse us for the damage without a letter from a third party. I called nine different drone repair businesses, and Dronefly was the only one to agree to help. Trevor was very responsive and wrote a perfect letter so that we can finally file a claim to UPS. Dronefly is awesome! They are much more affordable than DJI's own repair service and fix drones in less time! I had uprgraded from the DJI Phantom 3 to the Phantom 4 (the uncrashable drone) when on my first day, it switched to manual mode, drifted sideways into a city sksyscraper, fell 200ft and smashed to the ground. I thought all was lost and that I would have to sell this drone for parts. After grieving for several hours, I Googled affordable drone repair options. Dronefly came up in the search results. I sent the drone to Dronefly the next day. They diagnosed the problem in a few days and I got my drone fixed in three weeks! It sounds like a lot of time, but it was quick compared to how long it would take if I used DJI's own repair service! My drone came back to me completely rebuilt, looking and working like new! I've been using it several months after I got it fixed and I almost forgot it ever crashed! The even shipped it back as if it were a new DJI product, in neat packaging. They also sent back the old parts so I know it was fixed! If I ever have the unfortunate event of crashing a drone again, I will use Dronefly! I have a Phantom 3 Advanced that would not connect the controller with the drone. I contacted Dronefly and sent the drone in. It was repaired and returned to me ready to go. Perfectly repaired Phantom 3 Professional. Took a few weeks time but worth the wait. Got a rapid and polite response to every email I sent to customer service during the process.
Worth the money, I paid $300 for 2-years insurance from CPS but after just one repair, they considered my insurance over. My Phantom 4 was attacked by a tree and fell into a lake. I was eventually able to retrieve it, broken and covered in sludge. I knew it was mission impossible when I sent it to Dronefly but I was heartbroken and willing to try anything. Most repair places will let you throw good money after bad till and in the end (of your money) tell you it isn't fixable. Dronefly was immediately upfront and told me it was beyond repair. They only charged me for the return shipping and refunded the rest. For that I gave them 5 stars. I have a new Phantom and if anything requires repair, I won't hesitate to send it to Dronefly.

I'm really impressed with the crew at Dronefly! I shipped my wrecked p3p 2k miles to them after an interference error caused it to drop out of the sky and tumble through 100ft tall trees.
Dronefly did exactly as they promised. They contacted me after initial diagnosis and gave me both best and worse case scenarios. The communication was professional and thorough. After the initial wait in the queue, which took less than the 10-day estimate, they were very prompt. Did I mention how impressed I was at their communication? The p3p is home again and functions as good as new. They installed a new shell, 4 new motors, and a new control board with no markup above retail on the parts. My drone's camera was destroyed after a pretty bad crash, but the Dronefly team managed to fix it not only quickly, but at a decent price. I was pleasantly surprised with the turnaround time with this service. Once they received my P3P, I got an email saying I would hear within a couple of weeks due to the current wait que. I received an email and phone message in 10 days. I got my drone fixed and it was immediately shipped back 100% functional. It looks like they even cleaned it up for me!!! The drone looked brand new. My repair technician was "Mike". He was very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. I cannot stress enough how happy I am with this service. No way I would ever send my drone back to DJI. I am based in San Francisco and I couldn't find any professional repair services in Northern California. I had attempted to repair the drone myself, and boy, was I getting frustrated. I crashed my drone and thought it needed one new motor. After attempting to repair it myself unsuccessfully I found DroneFly. This was super convenient and I will be using them again if I need repair services. These guys fixed my Phantom 3 Standard and got it back to me within a few weeks. They called and made sure that I authorized the charges for 4 motors and I was happy they called and shipped once I confirmed.

It was busy due to the time of year but once they got to my repair it was done quick and they shipped my Phantom 3 back quick! They could have taken advantage of me and told me that more was damaged than what was but they did not. My total parts bill was $23.00. I was one of those first time Phantom owners who got a little cocky about my new found skills and on my 3rd crashed it into a tree and watched it fall 30 feet to the pavement. The shell was broken and the camera gimbal and ribbon cables were snapped off. I found Dronefly online and saw overwhelmingly positive reviews so I sent my Phantom in. The whole service process was simple and the guys are easily accessible by phone and email if you have questions. They sent me a detailed report of the damage and the cost for repair. Even with having to order a new shell from DJI, they fixed it and had it back to me in 10 days. The Phantom flies perfectly and looks brand new. I was a little concerned sending my new Phantom 3 Pro 1400 miles to be fixed. I had lost the live video feeds & I worried if I sent it back to the manufacturer it might end up in China and would take months. I gave DJI service and Dronefly a call and talked to service tech's at both places. Afterwards, I just felt better sending it off to Dronefly.
I am not sorry, they kept me informed each step of the way. I received several e-mails during the whole process, explaining what was done and what had been found.
I believe Dronefly to be a company with high standards and a very professional approach to rapid and meticulous repairs.

So I went out to fly my drone a few weeks ago and accidentally pulled it the wrong way right into a tree. It fell 40ft and slammed into the roof of my house. The arms were bent and needless to say my P3A was done for...or so I thought. I sent it to Dronefly, they contacted me throughout the process so I could keep track of it. Let me know how much the pieces would be, I thought it would cost me several hundred dollars to fix but it didn't! Very very reasonable price for the fix. Got it back a week later and just test flew it yesterday and all was good! I can't say enough great things about this company. They kept me fully informed of the status of my repair. My drone was boarder line repair/replace. They put no pressure on me regarding my decision. I decided to replace my P3A with a P3P. They shipped my damaged quad back to me, even after I told them they could keep it for parts. Because of them going the extra mile, I was able to get a full replacement under SquareTrade warrant - which they no longer have. Thanks for returning my damaged drone even after I told you a week early you could keep it for parts. Got my check yesterday from SquareTrade.
